Channel Vision H.264 Network Digital Video Recorders (DVRs)
Channel Vision has recently launched three new networkable DVRs that provide as many as 16 camera inputs and a choice of remote options.
One of the options that Channel Vision supports its new line of H.264 Network DVRs with is a choice of hard drives that range from 250GB to 1TB.
While not having the same allure as home theater or the technical aura of home control and automation, the security category offers installers the stability of being desirable in both good and bad economic times.
Helping to support the category's consistent performance as a profitable category are companies like Channel Vision. One of the Costa Mesa, Calif.-based company's latest product releases is its new line of digital video recorders (DVRs). Channel Vision's new H.264 Network Digital Video Recorders include three DVR units---the DVR-43G, the DVR-83G and the DVR-163G---and they provide installers with four, eight and 16 camera inputs.
Channel Vision says the H.264 Network DVRs offer 20 percent more hard drive recording capacity than its previous models and the DVRs facilitate improved video streaming because of their increased storage capabilities. The DVRs work with both Windows-based and Apple computers, and with their flexible monitoring options, that includes remote operational capabilities, users can view recorded video content over the Internet through a monitor or HDTV. In addition, users can monitor their systems with their 3G-enabled iPhones, Blackberry, Windows and Android smart phones, and the products provide a choice of viewing angles that include full, multi or auto-sequence screen views.
