CEDIA Gets Jiggidy with YouTube Membership Video
This is not your father's CEDIA: Check out the hip new video on membership renewal.
Integrators who like to whine and moan about CEDIA —our most revered trade association—not doing enough about this or that, maybe you need a little refresher on what the organization provides. They don’t just produce trade shows and court builders and architects; they negotiate with vendors to bring discounted services to your business.
The association has created a snappy little video that tells a good story in just 1 minute and 29 seconds. For example, CEDIA reminds us about discounts for Sprint and Verizon Wireless, responding to a request from 95 percent of members for help with cell phone plans.
CEDIA also tells us that 83 percent of members have requested credit card processing services, so the organization inked a deal with Pay Anywhere.
Yeah, sounds pretty boring when I say it here, but if you’ve got some hip tunes playing in the background while you’re learning about these benefits, it makes payroll and fleet maintenance software seem pretty groovy.
