CEDIA Expo Early-Bird Discounts End July 15

Association members who register before Friday get free access to the exhibit floor vs. paying $30, plus steep discounts on education.

The Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA) has announced that early-bird discounts for CEDIA Expo 2011 will end at 5 p.m. PDT Friday, July 15.

After Friday, pricing will increase for both tradeshow access and education offerings.

CEDIA Expo 2011 will be held at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis Sept. 7–10 (tradeshow dates Sept. 8–10).

In addition to early-bird pricing on individual courses and tradeshow access, CEDIA members who register before the early-bird deadline have access to a $299 Members’ Only Education Pass that covers most training opportunities at the show. After Friday, this pass increases to $399.

Potential attendees who are not currently CEDIA members can apply for membership before the deadline and still get access to the discounts.

CEDIA members who register before Friday can attend the tradeshow for free vs. paying $30. Other discounts apply for CEDIA University courses.

Why was waanabet’s post removed. Cedia will of course extend their early bird deadline. Why the censorship?

That person has posted nearly 100 comments on CEPro.com, all under different names, and not a single one that says anything other than: This company or this event or this person is worthless. We are happy to allow anonymous posts and negative posts, but will not allow comments from someone with a history of useless commentary—two or three or 10 offenses, fine, but not 100 and 100%.

Generally, we apply the same principles as Huffington Post:

(I) If your comments consistently or intentionally make this community a less civil and enjoyable place to be, you and your comments will be excluded from it.
