Gary Yacoubian of Monster Cable remains chairman of the CEA Executive Board.

The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) has announced the members of its 2010 Executive Board and the members of its Board of Industry Leaders (BIL).

The Executive Board, elected in October at the CEA Industry Forum in Phoenix, now includes Best Buy CEO Brian Dunn, BrightStar chairman Denis Gibson, Sony president and COO Stan Glasgow, Leviton director of business development Ian Hendler, and Mark Luden, president and CEO of The Guitammer Company.

Gary Yacoubian, who was recently named Monster Cable's VP of strategic development, remains chairman of the Executive Board. Randy Fry, president of Fry's Electronics, will serve as vice chair, while Pat Levelle, president and CEO of Audiovox, remains the immediate past chairman.

"With the chief executives of Best Buy and Sony Electronics now in our leadership as well as executives from home automation, wireless, broadband, gaming and other technology sectors, we are well positioned for the future," says CEA president and CEO Gary Shapiro, who will serve on the board along with Glenda MacMullin as treasurer and Karen Chupka as secretary. "Our members have elected a board of volunteer leaders that truly represents the broadest possible cross-section of the technology sector."
