What can CE pros learn from your company that might make them run their business better?
The client comes first, last and always. The paradigm has shifted and there isn't anything that we sell they can't find cheaper online. The only real value we have to offer is the service that we provide. If I can make their life easier, less complicated, or better in any way they will call me again, but more importantly they will tell their friends.

I have never advertised, 100 percent of my business is from referrals. We travel and do multiple properties for most of our clients because they enjoy the experience and it works when we are finished.
 
What unique trade tip can you offer your fellow CE pros?
Send thank you notes when the job is finished, but especially when they refer a friend.
 
What's the wildest request you've ever had for an installation?
Client had $250,000 in Crestron that had never been programmed properly. He asked us to get it out of his house and replace it.
 
What is your 3D strategy and do you think it will live up to the hype?
My 3D strategy is to show it to as many people as I can. Once they see it in my showroom most want it, everyone loves it. It is like popcorn: every time you watch TV you don't have popcorn, but for that special game or movie popcorn makes it better. 3D makes it better.
 
What is your absolute favorite piece of audio demo material and why?
Eagles When Hell Freezes Over (DTS Surround). It is a stunning recording of a live concert that everyone seems to enjoy. Most have heard it somewhere before and are amazed that it sounds so much better in my showroom. They are just as amazed when it sounds as good in their house. When my customers get younger I may have to find something new.
 
What is your absolute favorite piece of video demo material and why?
I don't know if I have an absolute favorite. Every Tuesday I see something new that blows me away. Blu-ray is such an exciting product almost everything I show is spectacular.
 
What is something about you that most people don't know?
I scream like a girl if a bug crawls on me.
