Individually, they buried themselves in a conference room and scoured the marketing materials that integrators submitted in 12 categories.
Ask any of the judges—Ted Green of Stratecon Group, Lucette Nicoll of Nicoll Public Relations and Deborah Smith of The Deborah Smith Group—and each marketing professional will tell you that their evaluations are subjective.
Some value simplicity over glamour. Some value creativity over clarity. What really matters, of course, is what the clients value.
The real goal of the CMAs is to get integrators thinking and debating about what direction to take their marketing. In that spirit, EHX attendees got to form their own opinions on who should win the CMAs.
All the finalists were on display at the show so integrators could evaluate their colleagues’ creativity and perhaps spur some marketing ideas of their own.
The following are the winners of the second annual CMAs that were announced at EHX on Nov. 8.
