CE Pro, CEDIA Join Forces to Produce CEProLive!
CEProLive! to offer CEDIA Sessions, keynote presentations and more to help dealers stay on top of their game.
CE Pro announced today its partnership with the Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA) to jointly produce a series of three CEProLIVE! online conference and tradeshow events in 2011, taking place on May 25, July 20, and October 27. CEProLIVE! is the first industry-wide virtual event for custom electronics professionals.
Together, CE Pro and CEDIA will offer a compelling roster of dealer education for each live online event, featuring joint keynote presentations, CEDIA Sessions, CE Pro “How to Make More Money” Sessions, and New Opportunity Programming. Topics include all of the hottest new technology areas with meaningful takeaways and valuable information to help dealers stay on top of their game.
“We are thrilled to join forces with CEDIA to offer first class dealer education within a virtual format where everyone can attend free from the comfort of their home or office,” says Deborah Smith, CE Pro Director Education and Events.
Said CEDIA CEO Utz Baldwin, "We are excited to partner with CE Pro to produce the virtual events. CEProLIVE! provides a platform for CEDIA and CE Pro to work together on educating and advancing the electronic system industry. With the lineup of CEDIA University education and CE Pro offerings, industry professionals will have access to a wide range of training opportunities.”
For the May 25 event, CE Pro Editor-in-Chief Jason Knott and CEDIA Senior Director of Technology Dave Pedigo will deliver a morning keynote presentation, “2011 State of the Industry." Steve Koenig, CEA Director of Industry Analysis, will present the results of a new CEA Energy Grid Study in an afternoon keynote.
Additional sessions for the May 25 event include:
The online tradeshow platform features an Exhibit Hall where dealers can explore new product information, watch training videos, and interact one-on-one with manufacturers in their virtual booths.
During last year’s CEProLIVE! event, attendees downloaded 5,000 pieces of manufacturer content, engaged in 2,500 live booth chats, and stayed an average of 2.5 hours at the show, logging in directly from their computers.
“We held the first two CEProLIVE! events in June and November of 2010, attracting thousands of CE Pro readers to the one-day virtual show,” said Ken Moyes, President of EH Publishing. “We are excited to be partnering with CEDIA to create a true industry-wide event that will deliver first class CEDIA and CE Pro education and expand the virtual trade show experience to a wider dealer audience.”
Registration for dealers to attend CEProLIVE! is free and available online at http://www.ceprolive.com. The upcoming May 25th online event will run from 10am – 6pm EDT.
