CE Pro 100 Straw Poll: 72% for Romney
Integrators and vendors at the CE Pro 100 and Commercial Integrator summits overwhelmingly choose Romney over Obama.
The Consumer Electronics Association CEO Gary Shapiro is a huge Romney fan.
We know from our Ultimate CE Profile that 42% of CE Pros identify themselves as Republicans, compared to 29% Independent and 26% Democrat.
But how about the CE cream of the crop? We polled attendees of the CE Pro 100 and Commercial Integrator Summit on the eve of the events, which start today.
The verdict? 72% say they voted for Mitt Romney.
Here’s what the group named as their most important priority for the new president:
Reducing deficit/debt - 36%
Stimulating job growth - 32%
Stimulating manufacturing in the US - 10%
Stimulating the housing sector - 7%
Repairing/rebuilding the country’s infrastructure - 6%
Improving science, technology and engineering education - 4%
Pursuing energy independence for the US - 3%
Dealing with immigration - 1%
Fighting global terrorism - 1%
