Users also automatically see artist, album and track information that is pulled from a choice of Internet, internal database, metadata or CD text.
The 1021, which can remember thousands of listener preferences, has dual buffering systems, external connections for Ethernet, IR, Boulder Link, AES digital output and 12v triggering.
Boulder says it spent more than $1 million in the two-year development of the 1021 Disc Player.
MSRP is $24,000.
