Distributor AVAD launches live tech support for integrators via phone or email for nine hours per day.
AVAD has launched new live Tech Support capabilities for integrators.
The AVAD Tech Support team can be contacted directly between the hours of 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. CST via the toll free phone number, 855-244-8911, or via email at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
“Unlike other distributors that rely solely on third-party technical support, AVAD has made the investment in our dealers’ businesses by providing direct and easy access to an in-house team of product and systems experts,” says Jim Annes, vice president and general manager of AVAD. “The AVAD Tech Support team is ready and able to assist our dealers with their unique needs, from programming to trouble-shooting complex whole-home and business automation projects.”
AVAD’s Tech Support service joins the distributor's other customer support programs, including AVAD’s System Design Group, AVAD Experience Centers, AVAD’s Product Exchange Policy and AVAD University.

Clearly, I have a pony in this race. But is this really news? A distributor offering tech support? I know at least one that has been offering tech support and teaching classes at Cedia for over fifteen years. I’d call it slow news day syndrome….

While this is a good thing, it is nothing new, in fact Parts Express, another AV distributor has live, In-house Tech Support from 8AM to 8PM EST…
