Autonomic iPad App Controls Mirage Media Servers
Mirage Media Controller iPad app designed to control Mirage Media Server (MMS-5 and MMS-2) and Mirage Media Control System (MCS).
Your clients have yet another reason to invest in the iPad. If they own a Mirage Media Server (MMS-5 and MMS-2) and/or the Mirage Media Control System (MCS), they can now use an iPad as a controller.
Autonomic says the Mirage Media Controller (MMC) for iPad allows homeowners to browse and control media libraries, as well as supported streaming services. Tap into SiriusXM satellite radio and thousands of web radio stations, or just your own iTunes or Windows Media content. The company also plans to add Rhapsody and Last.fm support in the second quarter of this year.
The MMC interface includes metadata and album cover art, and allows users to build playlists. Listeners can also use the app to discover new music, via Pandora access.
“With the ever growing popularity of the iPad, this app was a natural progression for us,” said Michael de Nigris, CEO and co-founder of Autonomic. “Mirage Media Servers are known for cloud-based access and control of content from anywhere at any time. Someone who already carries an iPad wherever he or she goes can forgo the high cost of dedicated touchpanels.”
The Mirage Media Controller iPad is available now through the App Store for $49.99. Versions for the iPhone and iPod touch are also available for $19.99.
