The IWTS-30 LCR has a three-way design with an 8-inch woofer, two 3 1/2-inch midrange drivers and a 1-inch Low Resonance Tweeter (LRT).
The midrange drivers and tweeter are arranged in a separate sealed enclosure that can be rotated 90 degrees and tilted up to 8 degrees.
The IWTS-30 LCR also includes a trio of controls to customize performance: the high frequency energy switch adjusts tweeter levels for rooms that are acoustically bright or dull; the location switch raises or lowers the entire mid-treble band; and the boundary compensation switch adjusts lower-midrange output if the speaker is too close to a ceiling or side wall.
The IWTS-30 LCR will be available in May with an MSRP of $1,250 each for the speaker. Also available are a GFR-626 Grille/Frame assembly ($75) and an optional back box enclosure ($175).
