Atlantic Technology Makes IP-Ready Speakers for NetStreams
Speakers compatible with NetStreams' StreamNet A/V systems.
Atlantic Technology IWTS-7 LCR and IWTS-14 LCR
Atlantic Technology is developing IP-ready loudspeakers for NetStreams' StreamNet multiroom A/V systems.
Atlantic modified three in-wall models for this capability: IWTS-4 LCR, IWTS-7 LCR and IWTS-14 LCR.
Each model can be connected conventionally or the NetStreams way — speaker connects through the NetStreams Euro-style barrier connector when the A/B connector switch is thrown into the "NetStreams" position.
The speakers, which will be shown at CEDIA Expo 2008 (booth 930), are bi-amplified using NetStreams' 2- or 4-channel SpeakerLinX amplifiers.
The speakers receive a synchronized digital signal from the source to the voice coil.
Atlantic Technology didn't release pricing. It expects to ship the IP-ready speakers in Q4 2008.
