Andre Lalande Leaves Lutron for URC
Andre Lalande, URC
“I’m getting back to my roots in control, which is really my passion,” he tells CE Pro.
He was director of marketing for Philips Consumer Electronics from 2002 to 2008, after which he joined Lutron electronics, where he served as residential solutions marketing director.
URC and Lutron have been partners for years. Lutron provides RF lighting products to communicate natively with URC’s own controllers, and Lutron’s Radio Ra 2 was one of the first subsystems to be incorporated into the URC Total Control whole-house automation system.
“I learned so much from Lutron and I’m looking forward to the next step in my career,” Lalande says.
In addition to Lalande’s appointment, URC has promoted Scott Srolis to director of sales for Eastern U.S.; Chris Discotto has been promoted to regional sales manager for the Eastern U.S.

From Left: Scott Srolis, director of sales, Eastern U.S.; Lars Granoe, VP sales; Doug Cole, senior VP and GM; Andre Lalande, director of sales, Western U.S. and Canda.
