AMMP Forms Home Control and Automation Alliance
Alliance to raise awareness about creating "smarter homes" with home control and automation products.
Allied Manufacturers of Motorized Products (AMMP) is launching an alliance to raise awareness about creating "smarter homes" with home control and automation products.
The AMMP wants to connect automation dealers with motorization dealers to increase sales and awareness of motorization products within the home automation market.
Everyone is trying to save money during these tough economic times. Thus, motorized control options for electronic window coverings, awnings, projection screens, TVs and motorized art are becoming essentials. The AMMP hopes motorization products will become the industry standard.
"Builders and designers are always looking for features that make homes smarter, and homeowners like to add unique touches that make their homes more livable and daily life more convenient," says AMMP spokesperson Robin Reining.
"We're excited to launch AMMP at this opportune time and we are honored to have industry-leading companies as the founding members of the alliance.
"Their knowledge and participation in AMMP will be of great value when communicating the availability and benefits of motorization products in the home.
"Adding new members will help us continue spreading the word even further."
