ADI Announces Expanded Training Schedule
ADI offering installers a variety of programs throughout its 39 offices and online.
ADI has expanded its training initiatives for 2010 to help dealers remain competitive in the low-voltage market.
ADI’s training program consists of a wide variety of educational opportunities that are available at branches across North America. ADI is teaming up with industry associations and vendors to provide dealers with training courses to match all skill levels.
The program includes Expo seminars, IP Electronic Systems Networking Technicians (ESNT) Certification Training, AXIS Communications IP training courses, CEDIA Business Operations Makeover, CEDIA Electronic Systems Technician Workshop, CEDIA Lead-Based Paint Removal Training, Electronic Security Association (ESA) training classes through the National Training School (NTS), including Level 1 Certification, Burglar Alarm, Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control & Troubleshooting, NICET Fire Alarm Training and FireLite Systems Training courses.
In addition, ADI will offer an assortment of online training courses, including the IP 101 Webinar for Technicians, Fiber Optic System Planning Webinar, Webinar Training for IP Tools & Testing, and residential and commercial A/V webinars.
ADI also offers the convenience of training on demand through the National Training Center’s (NTC) Training Department. Dealers can explore this training option to participate in a variety of interactive online training course in several product categories any time day or night.
In 2009 ADI trained over 11,000 dealers through its IP, A/V, Fire and Business Management course offerings. With 39 Expos in 2009, ADI and its contributing vendors provided more than 12,000 dealers with the opportunity to demo the latest products and the option of meeting with leading manufacturers while participating in valuable training seminars.
