ADA Ships Suite 8200 Multiroom Receiver
Eight-source, 8-zone preamp/amplifier outputs 25 watts per channel.
Audio Design Associates (ADA) is now shipping its Suite 8200 multiroom receiver.
The Suite 8200, demoed at EHX Spring, is an 8-source, 8-zone (16 channel) single chassis preamp/amplifier that outputs 25 watts per channel and is stable down to 4 ohms.
The Suite 8200 is an upgrade from the Suite 8100 multiroom receiver. The Suite 8200 ships with built-in dual AM/FM tuner, while the Suite 8100 only has one.
Suite 8200 also uses line-level audio outputs for each zone. Zones 1 and 2 have line-level subwoofer outputs.
The multiroom receiver, for added whole-home control, is compatible with ADA's entire line of keypads, touchscreens and IR remotes.
It can also be controlled by AMX, Crestron, Lifeware, Colorado vNet, Savant, Vantage, Universal Remote Control, RTI and Pronto.
The Suite 8200 is now shipping for $4,999.
