ACE Computers/ACE Digital Home Demonstrations at CEDIA EXPO 2007

September 6, 2007 – Arlington Heights, IL -- Ace Computers (http://www.acecomputers.com), CRN magazine's 9th largest custom system builder dedicated to providing customers with the latest technology customized to meet their needs will be showcasing new media server platforms, storage and other products and has other important releases at the CEDIA Expo in Denver, Colorado, September 6-9, 2007. Ace's booth is #258 and Ace will be holding a press conference at the booth at 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 06, 2007.

ACE Announces its new status as a Microsoft Direct Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Ace Computers, has been named a Microsoft Direct OEM because of its direct agreement with a Microsoft subsidiary to license Microsoft Products for distribution in fully assembled Vista Media Centers for Ace branded and co-branded systems. This designation comes at the same time that Ace Computers begins its celebration of 25 successful years in the business. This is significant because of the added value that we can bring to our media center platforms with direct CableCard access.

New Media Server platforms: As the CE OEM with the widest variety of form factors and price points, ACE will demonstrate NEW and innovative media server platforms including our LMS II, which is a fully fledged media center with an integrated amplifier, our LHD Viva, a unique All-in-one media server which can also double as an LCD TV, The LHD EVO, a new line designed with OEM requirements in mind and several others. We also will have a refresh on several models including our flagship LHD Limited. All media server platforms in the LHD, LMS, Vision and LHS Lines will be refreshed to being capable of receiving multiple CableCard tuners and we are looking for dealers, distributors and OEMs to partner on our new CableCard offerings..

New Microsoft Home Server Platform: Ace will demonstrate the new AMS 300, an attractive small form factor product running the soon to be announced Microsoft Home Server software. Designed as a repository for a digital home's content, the AMS 300 retails under $1000 and has 1TB of storage. NEW and innovative media server platforms including our LMS II, which is a fully fledged media center with an integrated amplifier, our LHD Viva, a unique All-in-one media server which can also double as an LCD TV, The LHD EVO, a new line designed with OEM requirements in mind and several others.

Technician Friendly Notebooks: Finally, Ace will demonstrate some new notebook systems that are designed with the CE Professional installer in mind; the Durabook line will feature notebooks designed with the jobsite in mind; magnesium alloy casings, sealed screens and keyboards, drop resistant, spill resistant, and shock resistant; complete with 1 or 2 serial ports for those legacy programming projects no longer available in commercial notebooks from the major OEM's. All this for a notebook priced within $300 of standard commercial (not consumer) grade notebooks.
