With the flat-panel TV category looking worse than the stock market, CE Pros have had to find new ways to reinvent revenue streams.

Many installers have turned to the projection video category.

A two-piece projection system generally offers a sales opportunity for the projector and the screen, with potential for greater margins than a flat-panel TV.

There's also the opportunity to sell more advanced solutions that include anamorphic technologies, curved screens and screen masking.

The companies in this roundup not only help installers meet their clients' needs, but they also back these products with a number of initiatives to ensure long-term satisfaction.

According to the CE Pro 100 Brand Analysis, the most popular projection screen manufacturers are: Stewart Filmscreen, Da-Lite, Draper, Vutec, Snap AV and Screen Research.

I am glad to see Snap AV get more press. Great products, great company and super duper margins. The way it should be without ripping off customers.

No SMX? No point even mentioning the other brands IMO, SMX is the best of the bunch.
