15 Impressive Racks
We round up some impressive racks that are worth a second look.
One of the most important choices you make in designing home theaters is where to place a dedicated equipment rack.
Some people don’t want to see it at all, what with all of those blue, red or green status indicator lights. Others are more of the type to show off their assets - hey look at all of this cool A/V gear.
Rules of thumb with equipment racks generally include proper access, ventilation, accommodation and, yes, sometimes aesthetics.
Make sure the products can be easily swapped out for upgrades or repairs. And it’s always a good idea to prepare for the future, so overestimate how much gear will be stored rather than just accommodating the exact amount planned on being used.

Not to be an ass but that story is embarrassing.
Did CePro only have 15 racks to choose from?
Don’t get me wrong, there are a couple of very nice racks and a whole lot of awesome equipment but the better part of that slide show left something to be desired.
I can only imagine what a couple of those racks look like from the back given the lack of attention to detail that shows on the front.
Maybe I’m a little picky but why were 95% of those racks at least not finished with trim strips and why was the only one that was finished with trim strips plastered with emitters?
I also would have liked to seen some of those racks with their doors closed and the camera zoomed out to get a feel for their location.

These are great looking racks. . from the front
I would be curious to take a look under the hood and see if these are true Ferraris or 1600CC VW’s with Corvette body kits.
I would assume they are top notch all around, but the true beauty of rack work is behind the pretty faceplates.
