Digital signage is supposed to be a $4.8 billion global industry in 2010 before growing to $8.3 billion in 2013, according to IMS Research.

Companies that exhibited at InfoComm 2010 are clearly looking to get in on that. Most booths had digital signage solutions, including displays, software, content distribution and audience evaluation tools.

The winner of the NEC Best of InfoComm Award for 2010 is a digital signage player, the HMP100 Hyper Media Player from Swiss digital signage manufacturer SpinetiX.
