OSD Audio, a manufacturer of whole-house audio, home theater and stereo components, has just announced its new DAC-XA100 DAC Amplifier.
The Calif.-based company says that its latest amplification product is capable of producing peak power loads of 200 watts and the amplifier is rated to produce 50-watts per channel RMS into 8 ohms. OSD Audio states that integrators can use the DAC-XA100 DAC Amplifier for a range of simple audio installations.
OSD Audio points out that its new combination amplifier DAC solution features a USB digital audio input that is capable of accepting audio resolutions as high as 24-bit/196kHz to support connections of devices such as computers, smart devices and streaming components. The OSD Audio DAC-XA100 DAC Amplifier also incorporates RCA inputs that allows integrators to connect other analog inputs from a TV or the headphone output from a phone using a 3.5mm-to-RCA cable.
The company notes that one of the RCA input pairs has an interrupt feature that will automatically switch the other inputs off when a signal is sensed to allow integrators to prioritize a particular source component.
Other options the DAC-XA100 DAC Amplifier offers includes a volume control, as well as controls for bass and treble, and a switch that allows users to go between two sets of loudspeakers.
