The MSE Audio company was showing its Entertainment STNet Switch II, a proprietary Power over Ethernet, rack-mountable switch designed for use in Dante networks. With 16-ports, the STNet Switch II is designed for pairing with STNet IPD Speakers, and SoundTube worked with Attero Tech on the 70V audio distribution Axiom port. DSP is built into the distributed audio system.

“The biggest question we get asked when we show our Dante-enabled speakers is how does it compare in price to traditional 70-volt systems,” says MSE Audio’s Ken Hecht. “Our goal with the IPD-Hub2 was to design a Dante-enabled system that would be cost competitive with regular 70-volt systems or regular distributed audio systems in a house.”
