“Bourne Identity” One of the first movies to have realistic fighting. They do a lot of close fighting in this movie. Typically, in movies they will shoot wide angle shots of kicks. In “Bourne Identity” they are in close, their hands are up and they are kicking and punching.  When the movie came out people complained about the fight scenes, but the martial arts community understood it. In up-close fighting I teach,  “attack the attacker.”
