HDTVs may be cool, digital audio may sound awesome, and home automation may be convenient, but all of these products pale in importance to the home network. And Luxul’s Xen High-Power Wireless Access Points (WAPs) are designed to provide homeowners with increased wireless network coverage and faster speeds.

Luxul says its latest WAP solutions incorporate its proprietary Xen3D signal enhancement technology which is said to improve coverage and network speeds by as much as 400 percent over standard Wi-Fi components. The products also support Multi-Stream 802.11n and Concurrent Dual-Band operation to ensure the products’ ability to deliver high-speed networking capabilities to a variety of devices within a network.

“The Luxul Xen high power AP line has been very well received by CEDIA dealers and installers,” notes Luxul CEO Jeffrey Curtis. “Our dealers that have had such great success with the current AP line will absolutely love the performance and price benefits of the new line. These enhancements further demonstrate the company’s commitment to continued improvement and to bringing products to market that help our dealers more efficiently and cost-effectively meet their customer’s expectations.”

Luxul points out the new line of WAPs are engineered specifically to address the custom installation market with options designed to facilitate their installation into a wide variety of residential and light-commercial environments. The WAPs also incorporate industrial design elements such as low profiles for wall or ceiling installations, as well commercial-grade construction to withstand the rigors of business applications. Other options such as PoE (Power over Ethernet) enhance the WAPs’ ability to install into just about any location.

Included in the line are a choice of indoor products and outdoor products to accommodate a number of wireless network scenarios.
