Since the advent of Class D amplifiers the audiophile community has generally shrugged off these products, as cheap and inferior to traditional Class A and Class A/B amplifiers. Paradigm, Anthem Stick with Custom-Only Biz Model

When B&W announced last month that it would sell speakers through Magnolia, the specialty brand got some flak from dealers. Dealers, meanwhile, got bombarded with messages from competitive manufacturers that vowed to stay “true” to the custom market.
