Savant Select is a universal remote control with an integrated 4th generation iPod touch® combined with backlit buttons including essential and common navigation keys. The Savant Select touch interface is an optimized theme version of the Savant TrueControl App. Savant Select delivers a simple, immersive and familiar consumer experience with the perfect balance of pushbuttons and touch interface providing intuitive, tactile navigation. The depth of the two-way communication provided includes audio and video, media, lighting, security, network cameras, climate control, gate access and more. Savant Select is ergonomically balanced for a comfortable fit and delivers immediate system access with a few taps or swipes of the 3.5-inch color Retina touch display, or through logically positioned backlit buttons for common applications. The Savant Select provides simple source control in any room (via hard buttons) to complete two-way home control and automation of everything from intelligent lighting, home theater or media room, whole-house audio and media, security, network cameras, climate—any home appliance connected to a Savant Smart System (via Savant’s TrueControl App). The powerful device also allows for complete navigation (with the hard-buttons or as a feature within Savant’s iPod touch App TrueControl), of Savant’s award-winning On-TV menu control portal TrueCommand. All hard buttons are completely customized (via common configuration software Blueprint) to perform any custom actions based on client needs.

The Savant Select offers a fast-charging Lithium ion battery providing long-lasting wireless operation. An elegant docking station accompanies the Savant Select and simplifies recharging while simultaneously proving operating power when the battery is low. Installation and configuration of this device is simply done via Savant’s award-winning software RacePoint Blueprint. Savant dealers use the same and familiar configuration and control software for all system set-up features of any installation. Finally, Savant Select provides the ability to multi-task and seamlessly switch between the active App and Apps running in the back- ground, such as mail, Safari, Google search, and more.
