Vutec To Unveil Commercial 3D Screens
One of the many new products Vutec will be showing at InfoComm is the SilverStar 3D-P, which it says helps to compensate for the inherent light loss that's associated with 3D images.
Vutec Corporation, a manufacturer of projection screen products will exhibit a wide range products at the 2010 Information Communication Marketplace (InfoComm) at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas during the week of June 9-11.
Vutec will be in booth number C4322 and it will be showcasing its 3D SILVERSTAR products. The Fla.-based company will also unveil its passive SILVERSTAR 3D-P, which Vutec president Howard Sinkoff says is designed for 3D video systems. “Behold an ultimate immersive stereoscopic active 3D performance with SILVERSTAR by significantly compensating for a 50 percent light loss with 3D images’ with Vutec’s patented high-gain [6.0], high contrast, vivid color reproduction, and 180-degree viewing area," he boasts.
"SilverStar’s specialized active 3D technology was pioneered in 1980 and provides the total 3D experience in high ambient light environments. Enjoy an unparalleled experience with Vutec’s innovative 3D ready screens that provide both active and passive 3D technology. All screens are not created equal."
Another product the company will be promoting at the commercial A/V trade event is its FUSION-HD screen, which it says is engineered for today’s HD projectors and high-resolution image files. Vutec describes the product's performance characteristics by saying it offers accurate color reproduction, image quality and clarity with rear-projection-based systems.
The company adds the FUSION-HD has an 180-degree off-axis viewing area with the ability to reject ambient light for varied-room or digital display applications. Its scratch resistant multi-layer design diffuses the image evenly across the entire screen surface to create exceptional screen uniformity, clarity and high image resolution. Standard sizes include: 16:9, 16:10, 2.35:1 and 4:3 aspect ratios. Custom sizes are also available.
