Vutec Offers Vision-X Dyna-Curve Screen for 2.35:1 Video
Features multi-aspect masking system that enables 16:9 and 4:3 ratios.
Vutec has unveiled its new Vision-X Dyna-Curve Screen, which will be on hand at EHX Fall in Long Beach, Calif. at booth 633.
The Dyna-Curve features a multi-aspect masking system to use with 2.35:1 Anamorphic Lens Projectors, enabling 16:9 and 4:3 aspect ratios.
Dyna-Curve is available with SilverStar, BriteWhite Opaque, PearlBrite, GreyDove and SoundScreen surfaces.
"This next generation of high-gain curved screens for the Home Theater offers an enhanced sense of viewer immersion, true high definition, outstanding color reproduction, higher contrast and a full viewing area," says Kevin Baisley, Vutec's VP of sales.
The horizontally-curved screen also features 6.0 gain and a maximum viewing height of 59 inches. Custom sizes are available upon request.
Dyna-Curve comes as a three piece modular unit for all screen surfaces, except for SilverStar, whose rigid screen surface comes fully assembled.
Prices range from $18,400 to $25,200.
