Take a Walk Through the Outdoor Living Spotlight
Polk Audio speakers, Lux weather-proof TVs and IDOD Design's outdoor-inspired display solutions are on display in the outdoor zone at EHX Fall.
The Outdoor Living Spotlight area at EHX Fall is dedicated to showcasing outdoor technology solutions.
The reaction from attending integrators has been very positive, says Michael Vetrovec, co-owner of IDOD Designs which designed the Outdoor Living Spotlight. He says a lot of integrators are trolling the show floor looking for ways to expand their offerings in a tight economy and that outdoor solutions fit the bill.
IDOD is a manufacturer of products that support other manufacturers’ outdoor audio and video products. Essentially, it aims to place high-performing outdoor products in a setting that looks natural outdoors and is protected from the elements.
In the Outdoor Living Spotlight, IDOD’s solutions frame outdoor products from Polk Audio, Lux (outdoor TV), Universal Remote Control, Da-Lite and others.
Since outdoor integration is new to many dealers, IDOD also offers them layout designs and its explaining that service to EHX attendees. Meanwhile, Curt Hayes, president of Deerfield Beach, Fla.-based Audio Design Inc., is showing examples of his installation designs in the Outdoor Living Spotlight.
