Super Bowl: The Ultimate Home Theater System
The Super Bowl is often the most-watched TV program every year, with millions of people watching across the world on different TVs, projection screens and home theater setups.
We thought it would be fun to compile the ideal home theater system, and a few other toys, to take the Super Bowl experience to the next level - if money were no object, of course.
One thing to note is that this system eliminates any use of a traditional disc player to use the power of digital solutions from Kaleidescape, Meridian/Sooloos and TiVo.
It also includes a nod to old-school analog audio with a Linn turntable, and a major emphasis on sound and video quality through the room design expertise of Anthony Grimani and video calibration from the Imaging Science Foundation’s (ISF) Joel Silver.

I think Bob should be sitting in a nice Boston Red Sox recliner. The start of their season is only 2 months away so he might as well get ready for Red Sox Nation fever!
I can’t believe I forgot the seating. I was so concerned with calibration and acoustics that I guess I would be seating on the floor.
I am also very upset with the Red Sox sudden fiscal responsibility. Sox fans pay way too much money for tickets, authorized Fenway bricks and other junk to have to sit by and watch the team over spend on Lackey and the Fried Chicken Texas Tough Guy (Beckett), while they nickel-and-dime the back end of the pitching rotation.
I am actually looking forward to watching the Bruins defend their Stanley Cup championship.
Sorry for the Boston sports rant.
Steve, you had to get Bob started on the Sox, didn’t ya? Now that’s all we’re going to hear about in the office until Spring Training.

Bob—What will you be sitting on during the Super Bowl… a folding chair? What about a home theater seating pick to easily access your beer, chips and guacamole?
