SnapAV Purchasing Promo: Earn Harleys, Luxury Cars, Vacations
Selling SnapAV Episode speakers can win dealers sports cars, Harleys, vacations and business marketing materials in Holy Snap! promo.
In the Holy Snap! promotion, dealers can earn prizes after reaching any of six separate tiers based on sales of Episode speakers until March 31, 2011.
Manufacturer SnapAV based in Charlotte, N.C. has launched an ambitious dealer promotion around its exclusive Episode speaker line that allows CE pros to earn rewards like luxury sports cars, motorcycles and jet skis, take vacation getaways, or business assistance items like computers, truck wraps, Web site design and more.
The incentive program, called Holy Snap!, started on February 1, 2010 and runs through March 31, 2011. The promotion specifically revolves around the company’s Episode architectural and bookshelf loudspeaker line.
“Our research shows us that dealers are rallying around loudspeakers as the most important product for producing profit and, thus, the most important product to the success [or failure] of their businesses,” says Adam Levy, vice president of marketing at SnapAV.
Levy says SnapAV’s internal research shows that speakers are by far the most purchased product category by dealers, double the amount spent on all other products combined (amps, acoustical treatments, screens, mounts, racks, cables, and more). So the distributor realized that it needed to improve its speaker line to enable greater dealer profits.
“Dealer profit is our mantra at SnapAV, so we beefed up our Episode loudspeaker line,” says Levy.
The company, which was founded by integrator Jay Faison, designed an all-new speaker line that began rolling out in summer 2009 with new models still being introduced through mid-2010. Improvements focused on engineering and quality, and the company backed it up with a $100 award and total refund on purchase to any dealer who listened to the Episode speakers and did not believe they outperformed comparable competitors.
In the Holy Snap! promo, dealers' cumulative purchases will count towards a number of rewards, including:
The program has rewards at six tiers (purchasing levels): $10,000, $15,000, $25,000, $50,000, $75,000 and $100,000. Dealers can choose any combination of rewards that add up to their total accumulated purchases in the program.

“Even in this recession, SnapAV is growing,” says Levy “and we feel fortunate to be able to reward our loyal dealers in this way."
