Sensata Group Releases Images of Web Portal

The Sensata Group, a consultant firm that has partnered with Elan Home Systems, is showcasing its new Web portal software at Elan Tech Week (May 12-16) in Lexington, Ken.

CE Pro has obtained new images of the Web portal that allows integrators to organize, maintain and access information about its projects.

A Client Manager tool allows integrators to view and sort clients, and search for clients by name, address, phone, e-mail and user name.

"With this system, customers will be able to literally 'see' the progress of their installations through the interactive Web site," says Electronic Systems Desgin VP of business management Michael Voll, who helped form Sensata Group during EHX Spring.

"The portal also allows clients and builders to log in and view their project information, make payments and communicate with their integrators by making service request of sending information."

Client information pages show complete account information, allowing integrators to view clients' proposals, floor plans, etc.

"Imagine a service that allows you to turn proposals around faster and bid more jobs by providing a professional proposal and detailed drawings, a service that provides a roadmap for technicians to install systems and provides valuable business reports to both manage and determine profitability on every project," Voll explained.

The preferred manufacturer and distributor program allows integrators to electronically submit purchase orders manufacturers in this group.

In addition to Elan Home Systems/Home Logic, Sensata Group has partnered with Sunfire Corporation, Centralite Systems and Bluestar Distributors.
