Sanus Intros 3 HDMI Cables That Pivot 180 Degrees
Supports 10-, 12- and 16-bit RGB or YCbCr color, 1080p, lossless audio, 120Hz.
Sanus Systems is trying to ease the pain of squeezing an HDMI cable into the rear port of a wall-mounted TV.
Sanus will be showcasing at CES 2010 three new HDMI cables designed to solve the tight space dilemma.
As part of the company's Sanus Elements line, the ELM402-G1 ($29.99), ELM405-G1 ($39.99) and ELM410-G1 ($49.99) all feature a connector head made from flexible material that pivots 180 degrees. That way it doesn't have to stick out too far from the wall.
Sanus says the connector is less than one inch deep, and it's gold plated to keep signal integrity optimized.
The cables come in 2.5-, 5- and 10-foot lengths. Sanus says the cables support 10-, 12- and 16-bit RGB or YCbCr color, 1080p, lossless audio and 120Hz refresh.
