Runco VX-22i DLP Projector Delivers 2.35:1 Movies
3-chip projector has 1920 x 1080 resolution and three 16:9 SuperOnyx DMDs.
07.03.2008 — Runco is expanding its Video Xtreme line of 1080p DLP projectors with the VX-22i featuring CineWide with Autoscope technology.
The 3-chip projector has a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 and uses three 16:9 SuperOnyx DMDs with Vivix II video processing.
The Runco VX-22i, which will be on display at Booth 510 at CEDIA Expo 2008, has the same footprint and features as the VX-22d, including the DHD controller.
The controller features HDMI connectivity, and the CineWide technology delivers 2.35:1 Cinemascope movies.
Each chip is dedicated to a specific color - red, green and blue - and the projector meets Imaging Science Foundation calibration standards.
The VX-22i is certified by the THX Certified Display Program and is shipping for $39,995.
If you want the CineWide with Autoscope option and Runco's McKinley anamorphic optics, the VX-22i will run you $54,995.
