Purist Audio to Introduce Vesta AC Power Cables
Purist Audio Design says its new Vesta AC Power Cord offers a higher current capacity than standard OEM power cables and the company says its design goal with the product was to provide A/V enthusiasts with a product that delivers low noise and high performance.

In the audiophile world the landscape is dotted with small, enthusiast-driven companies that offer everything from CD players and amplifiers, to turntables and loudspeakers. One of the companies that have been quietly operating in this niche portion of the consumer electronics market is the 25-year-old Clute, Texas-based manufacturer Purist Audio Design.
On March 8-10 during the upcoming Axpona Audio Expo in Chicago Purist will introduce several new products to its product line, including a new power cable that is mid-market priced and designed to out perform standard OEM cable products. The Texas company’s Vesta AC Power cable is described as a high-performance, low-cost replacement for factory provided power cables and the 12AWG product is said to offer a higher current capacity than standard cables to help deliver a higher level of performance.
The cable features a polyvinyl chloride dielectric material and stranded, multi-gauge allow conductors. Internally, the cable also employs aluminized foil layer shielding and the company treats the product with its Cryomag process to ensure its performance and durability over a long period of time.
