The high-end manufacturer says the Profile 2.0 player features BD Live and BD Java and delivers 1080p at 24 frames per second. It comes with HDMI 1.3 with Deep Color and xvYCC Extended Color.
It includes the following connections:
- Ethernet
- Composite
- Component
- Coaxial
- External IR
- Front-panel USB port
The T 587 offers the latest lossless audio codecs from Dolby Digital and DTS. The T 587 also has the ability to upscale DVDs via HDMI.
The T 587 will ship in December for $1,499. We know NAD is a high-end manufacturer, but that's quite a lofty price tag for a Blu-ray player. PriceSCAN recently said the price index of Blu-ray players dropped
7 percent in October and more than
12 percent in September.
