I've seen some interesting Media Center form factors in my day, but the I*magine from Moneual Lab takes te cake. It looks like a boom box, but it's a full Windows Media Center PC with a 7-inch touchscreen and all the bells and whistles of a traditional Media Center.

You can lay the machine horizontally, like an oversized Roku, or mount it vertically on a stand like a tower speaker.

The unit has an Intel Core2 Duo processor and runs Vista Premium. Naturally you can use the Media Center interface, but Moneual has its own multimedia interface as well.

Out of the box, the I*magine is voice controllable via a Bluetooth headset.

All the typical componentry is there for a high-end Media Center PC, including an HDMI port and 802.11 a/b/g.

The unit is expected to ship in Q4 for about $4,999.
