Paradigm, Sony Use New Media for Promotions
Marketing efforts reflect many ways of reaching a diverse group of consumers.
Paradigm Electronics is giving away a Cinema CT system each month to one of its lucky Facebook followers.
Matt Anderson of Garland, Texas was the first winner of the contest, which will run through March 2010.
"My first reaction to winning the contest was one of disbelief because I was so excited to have won such a quality product," Anderson says. "I know how good Paradigm speakers sound. I have a Paradigm Reference 20-v2 setup in my modest home theater along with a Paradigm center-channel speaker for over 10 years now."
Sony is giving consumers who own a networked Bravia HDTV or Blu-ray player an exclusive opportunity to rent the movie "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" four weeks before its general release. The devices must be registered between Nov. 9, 2009 and Jan. 4, 2010 in order to receive a free 24-hour rental of the HD version of the movie.
Sony will also support the contest with an advertising campaign that features the movie's animated stars, Sam and Flint, beginning on Nov. 9.
