Nationwide Marketing’s PrimeTime! Show Draws 3,300
Buying group event boasts record attendance to earn product rebates, purchased equipment at auction, and listen to motivational speakers.
Nationwide Marketing says that attendees saved “millions off purchases” at its Primetime! event’s auctions and rebates.
More 3,300 dealers and manufacturer representatives from across the country attended PrimeTime!, a buying show and conference for independent dealers, held Feb. 28-March 3 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, according to the buying group.
The sessions focused on motivation and inspiration, highlighted by keynoter Kris Kuester, who encouraged attendees to overcome challenges.
Robert Weisner, executive vice president of Nationwide Marketing Group, says the group’s member dealers will continue to fight and win business “because of their determination, persistence and desire to succeed. The record attendance at this PrimeTime! event signifies the strength of our membership.”
Nearly 850 companies were represented at the three-day buying show and conference. The 150,000-square-foot, two-hall show exhibit stayed busy with new product presentations and lots of power buys. Nationwide’s instant rebate program, CashBack Now, reportedly saved dealers millions off purchases made at the show. PrimeTime! also hosted two pre-show sales events including the RentDirect Hot Show and Furniture Smart Millions in Minutes auction.
“It was a very successful show from start to finish and we could not have done it without the support we have received from our vendor community. They understand that independents have been and will continue to be a strong force taking up more market share in the furniture, appliance and consumer electronics categories,” says Weisner.
The next PrimeTime! event is scheduled to be held in the Washington, D.C. area at the Gaylord National on August 15-18, 2010.
