Nationwide Marketing Group Touts Strong CE Growth
Dave Bilas, executive vice president at Nationwide, says independent consumer electronics resellers are in a better position to keep up with the market changes than big-box stores.
Calling the growth “much stronger than expected,” Nationwide added more than 130 new CE members and 358 storefronts, along with $500 million in buying power.
“With over 1,200 CE dealers, our presence in the industry is bigger than ever,” says Tom Hickman, senior vice president of electronics. “We are well on our way to meet our goal of doubling the CE business over the next 24 months.”
Says Dave Bilas, executive vice president, “Independents in the consumer electronics division can move much faster and keep up with the market changes better than the big-box stores. That’s the foundation Nationwide Marketing Group was built on, and we are thrilled to see continual expansion.”
Nationwide Marketing Group (NMG), headquartered in Winston-Salem, NC, is a buying and marketing organization for independent major appliance, consumer electronics, and home furnishings dealers. NMG has over 3,500 members with more than 10,000 storefronts and a combined $14 billion in annual sales.
