Island Systems is in its 27th year and has been named to the Hispanic Business 500 for the 11th straight year.

Company CEO Carlos Gonzalez says the company has been fortunate to focus on niche markets during the economic downturn. The company reported revenues of $10.5 million in 2008.
The company serves both residential and commercial markets and touts clientele such as Fox Sports Grill, Disney and Darden restaurants, Venetian Resort Hotel & Casino and Ameristar Casinos.
