Control4’s Paul Williams previews the company’s new OS 2.3 software and partner products. For more ISE 2013 previews, check out the CE Pro podcast here.

If you want to see a whole lot of home automation in one compact place, visit Control4 at ISE 2013.

The maker of home control, communications and whole-house audio/video systems once again is hosting several partner companies that integrate nicely with Control4.

You won’t find Control4 in the Residential Solutions Area at with most of their cohorts (but you will find partners Wyrestorm and Atlona there). Instead, look for the big Control4 stand in the front of Hall 8 #H180.

Below is a preview of what you’ll find from these 13 vendors at ISE. For its part, Control4 will present in Europe for the first time its OS 2.3 software which delighted dealers at CEDIA a few months ago. For a preview of 2.3, see the press release here, but check back for more details on the platform.

ADI-AV is a European distributor of Control4 and other partner products. Among the other partner products are SnapAV’s Wirepath DVR and Binary HDMI Matrix. Both of those products integrate with Control4 (see: SnapAV, Control4 Integration Cuts Surveillance Costs 85%)

Card Access Zigbee to IR

AmBX has been a favorite of CE Pro’s since it showcased its smart RGB LED lighting controls a couple of years ago. Last year, it showed wireless DMX (WDMX controls) and integration with Control4.

This year, they’ll demonstrate a new 4Store app used for configuring colored lighting scenes.

Atlona won a CEDIA 2012 “Best New Product Finalist” award for its High-Speed HDMI 4x4 Matrix Switcher (AT-PRO3HD44M), featuring HDBaseT Cat 5 technology. Look for it for the first time in Europe at ISE (stand 7-N200 and Control4 stand 8-H180).

Card Access, maker of all types of Control4-compati ble ZigBee sensors, adapters, bridges and other little helpers,  will be showing its relatively new access control and control extension products. The company will especially be promoting a ZigBee extender and ZigBee-to-IR module.

Global Cache iTach Flex

Extra Vegetables is a life saver for Control4 dealers, cranking out drivers and other integration tools, such as the most recent for NuVo’s Wireless Music product. EV will also demo integration with TRV radiator valves, helping Europeans save on energy management. Last year, the company debuted an interface for Heatmiser.

Global Cache is the master of communications converters, bridging IP, serial and IR, contacts and other control formats. At ISE, they demonstrate the new iTach Flex products just introduced at CES 2013, which IP-enables virtually anything with a communications port. We called it a “must-see” of CES.

Leaf Audio 20x20 HDbaseT switcher

ihiji provides remote monitoring and diagnostics to home networks and anything connected to a home network – like Control4 home automation systems. The company will make its European debut at ISE 2013.

Ivoryegg/KNX is bringing more KNX devices into the Control4 ecosystem, thanks to the Ivoryegg network of resellers including KNX dimmers, switches and keypads.

Leaf Audio introduced the big honkin’ LTHDMI2020E 20x20 HDBaseT matrix switcher at CEDIA 2012, and the product will make its European debut at ISE 2013. The product features four HDMI outputs and 16 HDBaseT outputs. The unit also includes 16 bi-directional IR ports, RS-232 and the company’s Zone Lock feature, which it says minimizes EDID errors. And of course it integrates with Control4.

Wyrestorm HDBaseT amp

Lilin offers an extensive line of IP surveillance cameras and DVRs, and at ISE it will show them integrated with Control4 thanks to an Extra Vegetables driver.

Nyce Control had the tiniest ZigBee sensors we’ve ever seen last year at ISE. This year, the company will show some new access control products, including a new garage door sensor and theft sensor.

Zektor Clarity HD Elite MediaFlex

Wyrestorm launched at CES 2013 the AMP-001-010 HDBaseT D Class Digital Audio Amplifier, a local amp that connects with a single Cat 5 cable. The product makes its European debut at ISE (stand 5-U110).

Zektor showed at CEDIA 2012 the Clarity HD Elite MediaFlex Matrix, a fast-HDMI-switching solution aimed especially for dealers who aren’t using similar products from other integration-friendly companies. At ISE, the company will show its forthcoming 8x8 HDBaseT switcher.

The nice thing about the Card Access Zigbee to Ir is the fact you can ditch the provided power adapter and power it from the Display’s USB port if it has one.
