HTSA Adds Renaissance Lighting as 50th Vendor Partner
Buying group enters the lighting fixture business with the addition.
The Home Theater Specialists of America added their 50th vendor partner this week, Renaissance Lighting of Herndon, Virginia.
Renaissance Lighting designs and manufactures innovative, solid-state lighting fixtures that provide exceptional appearance and color management, superior efficiency, environmentally conscious long life, and glare-free illumination for most general illumination applications.
The company's advanced approach to product engineering and design is supported by an IP estate of 32 patents, including the breakthrough "constructive occlusion." This optical system technique blends and controls light from multiple LEDs (light-emitting diodes) to produce elegant and uniform illumination for use by architects, lighting specifiers and space designers. This is the first HTSA vendor to provide this type of product. All 59 HTSA members are now Renaissance Lighting dealers.
"The partnership with Renaissance Lighting is important for our group," says Richard Glikes, executive director of HTSA. "HTSA is taking steps to provide clients with sustainable solutions, and Renaissance shot to the top of our list of potential new vendors when they were named a 2009 Going Green Top 100 American Private Companies Winner and received their ENERGY STAR qualification. Their product meets our high standards for quality and is a great solution for clients who are looking for an energy efficient option. We look forward to working with Renaissance Lighting and incorporating their products into our lighting installations."
Barry Weinbaum, CEO of Renaissance Lighting, says, "We support HTSA's green initiatives and are thankful that we were their top choice as a provider of energy efficient lighting solutions. We look forward to working with HTSA members and clients and hope to further establish this group as the leader in sustainable electronic integration."
