07.18.2007 — Holovision's Bio-View combines a biometric fingerprint verification with a telephone entry system, allowing users to control systems with a swipe of the finger.
"It's easy to duplicate metal keys or distribute a key code list but it's not possible to duplicate a fingerprint," says Holovision president Tim Huisking, in a statement. "This makes gate or door entry much more secure."
The system includes an intercom and camera and is compatible with in-home and in-office telephone systems.
