Future Automation to Make U.S. Debut at CEDIA Expo 2011
Future Automation is bringing its line of custom-built, hand-made mounts and lifts to U.S. audiences.
The U.S. home automation market is about to get a bit of British flavor.
Future Automation, a finalist for the CEDIA Manufacturers' Excellence Best Product Award, has announced plans to start distributing its products in the U.S.
Future Automation makes flat-screen mounting solutions. However, unlike some of the solutions we’ve seen, these add a motion option into the AV of the modern home. That little twist is one of the ways that the company plans to “fill a gaping hole in the high-end custom home market.”
The company designs and manufactures a comprehensive range of lift mechanisms for flat screens, wall mounts, projector mounts and drops, moving panel mechanisms, ceiling mounts and drops, floor and table mounts, as well as a full line of control, connectivity and safety accessories.
A few of the most interesting offerings include hidden bookcases, revolving pool tables and moving room.
Future Automation says that all of its products are 100 percent handcrafted. Future Automation’s facilities also enable the company to customize in 3D and 2D as well as a laser profiling machine, CNC lathes and CNC mills and a full metal fabrication facility. All of the company’s products are also designed to work with any third-party control system an integrator requires.
Future Automation will make its big U.S. debut at CEDIA Expo 2011 in Indianapolis.
