Flight from CEDIA Crash-Lands in New York, No Passengers Injured
The flight departed on Saturday, the third day of CEDIA Expo 2010 in Atlanta, and likely included show attendees.
The plane, which experienced landing gear problems, according to CNN, landed safely thanks to commendable work by pilot and crew - but not before instructions by a flight attendant of “Brace for impact” and “Heads down! Stay down!”
Check out a passenger’s cell phone video of the emergency landing:
If you’re a CEDIA Expo attendee that was a passenger on Flight 4951 (or any passenger on the flight), please share your experiences in the comments.

You know the guy with the cell phone footage was a CI.
Great footage! I love the clapping at the end.
I think I would have been happier to clap AFTER I was off the airplane!
Wow, the calmness of the pilots! And the flight crew, Im sure accolades are in order them, can you say BY THE BOOK! Could have easily been a training audio tape I heard.
Glad all were safe. SO tramatic.
I flew the same contract carrier. Planes looked old and in need of an exterior cleaning and painting. was looking for cracks as I was boarding, no shiat!
John Predham, president of CE Pro 100 company EPI Systems Integration in New York, was also on the flight.
Here are two links he provided to CE Pro. One is an interview he did with a local TV station and the other is his YouTube video taken just as the passengers got off the plane onto the tarmac.

Thank God that John and all the other passengers are OK.
Jon,
Glad you’re alright. Scary watching the video and for all of us who travel a great deal to see the BBY message which really hits home. Once again glad the story has the nice outcome for all involved.
Dan

Wow! I don’t think I would be concerned with capturing video if my plane were about to crash!
