Channel Vision Debuts Free DDNS Service for Security Cameras, DVRs
The DDNS service, dubbed Channel Vision Security, will track the IP address for surveillance cameras and DVRs at no charge.
Channel Vision is now providing a free DDNS (Dynamic Domain Name System) service to its surveillance customers called Channel Vision Security.
Channel Vision Security will continually track the IP address of the system and automatically change with any IP address change. A connection to the security camera or DVR is never lost due to a change in IP address, whether the system is purposely reset or the internet provider makes the change.
"Now that DDNS hosting services are beginning to charge and offer fewer free services, this program gives our customers another option for DDNS hosting. This is a great service that enhances the customer experience of our IP cameras and DVRs, as well as eliminating the frustration of keeping up with dynamic IP address changes or services provided by third parties,” comments Darrel Hauk, president & CEO of Channel Vision.
Customers can contact Channel Vision directly to obtain a URL for accessing their Channel Vision IP cameras or security DVRs over the Internet. A personalized web address is created to view video feed from their cameras or DVRs over the Internet. With this service, users have the convenience and confidence knowing that their IP address will adjust automatically. Designed for the home and small business owner, Channel Vision’s IP cameras and DVRs help users watch over their home or property, keep an eye on the babysitter or elderly parents, or monitor multiple business locations from one central site.
