If you had to use Twitter to describe what your company does (140 character limit), what would you write?
Audio Video Intelligence is a leader in the custom integration market. We take on any project and designs systems that fit clients’ architect, application, budget.
After you complete a project, what do you think your typical client tells his friend about the experience?
Our staff is very courteous and respectful of our client’s privacy and property and their overall experience was enjoyable. Our clients have always told us that we have exceeded their expectations.
What can CE pros learn from your company to help them run their business better?
One of the things I believe every custom integrator lacks is the ability to listen to the needs of their client. Being in the industry, we understand the technology and we know what we would like our clients to have. We need to educate the client on technology and design a system that is future capable and fits their lives.
What trade tip can you offer your fellow CE pros?
Education is very important. Be on top of technology and be the “go-to” technology source for your clients.
What’s the wildest request you’ve ever had for an installation?
A secret removable bookcase that is activated on a fingerprint scan while using a laser beam for opening and closing safety.
We only market and sell the feature driven model TVs with optimal picture, while all of the TV models have integrated 3D as an option. AVI completely re-wired our showroom and installed all 3D models and projectors so that we have the best product and picture quality to offer our clients. It will be a game changer.
What is your absolute favorite piece of audio demo material and why?
Our showroom is an experience center. We demonstrate high-end audio and video. One of my favorite pieces features Katharine McPhee, Chris Botti and the Boston Pops. The experience is similar to being at a concert. Her voice is very clear and articulate and the high-definition reproduction of video makes for a very exciting experience.
What is your absolute favorite piece of video demo material and why?
Harts War with Bruce Willis. The scene starts with Willis talking to a co-star in a play type venue. In the background, you hear a plane that comes closer and closer and takes over the scene with a dogfight and an explosive crash. This scene really makes you feel like you’re in the film.
What is something about you that most people don’t know?
I’m a very open person. If they know me, they know that!
