Subs come in 8- and 10-inch models and handle up to 150 watts at 8 ohms.
AudioSource’s AS Series of in-wall subwoofers come in 8- and 10-inch models.
AudioSource is now shipping its new AS Series of in-wall subwoofers and the AMPSUB210 subwoofer amp.
The in-wall subs comes in 8- and 10-inch carbon/polypropylene models. The AS8SW (8-inch) subwoofer handles up to 100 watts of power at 8 ohms, has a sensitivity rating of 87 dB and a frequency response of 40Hz-300Hz.
The AS10SW (10-inch) handles up to 150 watts of power at 8 ohms with a sensitivity rating of 88 dB. It has a frequency response of 33Hz-300Hz.
"Our in-wall sub systems, complete with two available in-wall models to choose from, allow contractors and consumers alike an option to get their audio components up off the floor when floor space is at a premium and floorstanding or bookshelf subs are not an option, or when the common ugly black box subwoofer is not the first aesthetic choice for a room," says AudioSource director of engineering Stewart Millager.
The AMPSUB210 subwoofer amplifier delivers 200 watts of power at 8 ohms or 300 watts at 4 ohms.
AudioSource, a division of Rodin, will showcase these products and more at its booth (560) at CEDIA Expo 2008.
The AS8SW and AS10SW cost $149.99 each, while the AMPSUB210 is $699.99.
